The Story and Man behind the digester.
Tony Firkin is the inventor of the concept,  having taken out the patent to his invention after returning from a fishing trip in the late nineties.  
Tony tells the story:  He emptied his bucket of fishing worms that he kept on the back veranda into a hanging wire basket lined with hessian used for plants, allowing him to get them up out of the way as the ants liked to nest in it. This provided safe place for his worm until his return from a business trip.
Upon his return he noted worm cast had been pushed out from the hanging basket into a tidy ring on the concrete below,  he placed a bucket underneath to catch the cast.    This cast expulsion caught his imagination and several designs for keeping his worm off the ground, and capturing their cast were investigated. The concept was born, a patent was granted and commercial development of the design was initiated.
The concept has undergone continuous development since the initital days and has now entered the international field of waste management in developed and developing countries.   Digesters have been sought to process up to 7000kg per week from all sorts of waste generators and interest in the concept continues to grow daily.
Tony remains a key contributor to Tat-G Corp and his digesters development.

Vermigold Ecotech is Mumbai's premier vermiculturist,  with many years experience in the industry, operating in the heart of Mumbai, India.  
Vermigold's services to the city were honored by the local Government with the granting of five acreas in the heart of the city for use in processing organic waste via vermiculture.  The facility processed up to 10,000kg per day at its capacity.
Vermigold Ecotech brought to India the Tat-G On-Site Organic Digester,  having placed them with major Public Sector Utilities and Private Companies.     Vermigold continues it's pioneering with the local construction industry now seeking planning and approval support, in dealing with the new manditory requirements for on-site waste processing in all large scale developments.
